My question really is, What impact does the entire bottled water industry have on the environment?

Story book it. The carbon footprint must make the the Grand Canyon look like a slight depression.

And please, follow the left's scientific method. Don't free constricted by backing up anything you present as fact--It will suppress your creativity.

I'm taliking about shipping hundreds of thousands of tons of water per day from europe and distibuting it to Starbucks and groceries in thousands of cities. That has to be the worst use of fossil fuel ever conceived by man, yet do we hear about that?

Bottled water probably costs more per gallon than gasoline!

Then again, gas doesn't have to be clean enough to drink.

PS Spread the word about the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide!!!

No. For the same reasons they won't give up their private planes. Liberals exist to tell YOU how to live.

The oil it takes to massively distribute the tiny bottles of water to millions of stores and gas stations would be a breathtaking calculation. But it is irelevent. You can't argue with liberals point for point because their agenda is a shell game!

There are places (Washington, DC) that have had clean water issues. I'm sure both side of the aisle drank bottle water.

bottled water is the same as tap water just with a fancy label. But, if they give up their gas guzzlers than I will give up my bottled water.
