I think the world should stand up and prosecute leaders of Israel (just like the world did with Saddam). Isn't hypocritical that we see in the news aggression in Gaza and we don't do anything? Why should we allow that Jews act like Nazi in WW2?

Call me crazy, but at least I have American passion that makes me review some of Presidents Bush's prior attempts and what he may try in the very near future, and I really do think that Bush has sold the country, to foreign investors!

Its pointless!

Why should you or I or anyone care which "party" someone belongs to! I just want a canidate with good speaking and leadership skills and has good ideas, and most importantly, cares about what WE WANT, not what their party stands for!

I'm siding with George Washington on this one!

So how would you feel if our next prsident was a female? How do you think this would effect our country?

2006-11-09 13:25:00 · 29 answers · asked by iwishiwasrich 2

I believe so. Most people show a preference for one political party or another based on their families' affiliation. Most people basically want the same things out of life, no matter who they are or where they' come from.

I have many friends and colleagues that affiliate themselves with the "opposing" political party; however, we have the very same values and ideals. We want the same things for ourselves and our families, and we get along great (outside of election season).

Am I crazy? Or do we place too much emphasis on the two party political system, which is a divider? Wouldn't this be a better and less-bitter process if everyone focused on and progressed those things that we have in common, regardless of political affiliation? Should we get rid of the labels and require candidates to simply state their ideas on topics/issues in order to gain votes? Essentially, everyone runs as an independent? Why or why not.

after losing the house/senate, will the Republicans try to come back to the middle by nominating McCain in 08?

I don't think they would have supported him a week ago, but now they may see that the tides are changing... and I think McCain has a great chance if they went with him?
