i like the annual black out idea but it didn't happen where i live as far as i know so there should be a nation wide black out but not like no power just a daay nobody uses lights or something because hospitals and stuff but idk? some one needs to figure it out someway i don't want people to die so i can see the stars
but a nation wide blackout one a year for a whole day would be great

The only solution is to put out the lights. I live in central Ohio and from my backyard on most nights you might be able to see 100 stars (generous estimate). I was just out in western Iowa, got out of the truck in the middle of the night and looked up . It was so spectacular in comparison. Sent chills down my back and I felt real small. You couldn't count the stars in the sky there if you stood there all year. Glorious!

Get everyone to turn off the lights! I know what you mean about the city growing and taking away those great views!

we should have another blackout, like we had in 2003, only planned instead, so nobody gets stuck in elevators this time. Make it an annual event, like a holiday

I know what you're talking about - it's disturbing. I wish I could
give your night sky back & I wish they would get a handle on
the building. I mean, because of it, I have way too much
wildlife living in backyard.
I'm going to go out there one night & one of skunks or possums
is going to let me know how pissed they are!

turn out the lights and get a telescope . light pollution for some is security for others . until we turn in all the bad people to the authorities and stop covering for them things will continue to get worse .
