For God's sake! They haven't even convened yet!!! They won't until January. Republicans literally PROVE without a doubt that they, with their false ideas about the democratic agenda, have no idea what democrats plan to do.
My advice is for them to give democrats a chance. A chance, the same way democrats gave Bush a chance before he wore out his welcome. Just chill out and wait till January. OK?

first off, there is no group called "the terrorists"... so who exactly are these people and what is the name of the group that will be attacking and taking over Iraq... where will they come from... where are they now (a huge army amassed along the border somewhere waiting for us to leave?)

I don't really get the logistics of terrorists taking over iraq and how that would happen...

al-queda is mostly destroyed according to Bush and Rummy... were they lying? they shouldn't be able to do anything near taking over a country...

the current elected government of Iraq is very Iran friendly... why would Iran attack if the current elected government is more than happy to work with them now? you don't need to attack people who agree with you and think the same way you do.

I just don't really get the logistics of how terrorists, who ever they are, could take over a country, especially since Iraq has several thousand trained/armed army troops, according to the goverment.

how would it work?

Were these emblems once upon a time chosen by leaders of the given party, or by critical print editorials? How is the Republican party like an elephant? How is the Democratic party like a donkey? More to the point, what influenced the creative minds in question to compare the parties to these beasts? When were these parties originally equated to their respective animal emblems?

With the many issues being debated by Rep and Dem and Ind, it's hard to take a stand and agree with one party about every single issue. I have some Dem views and some Rep views, but I vote for the person who sees my view of one major issue. The others are more minor to me.
What major views keep you Democrat or Republican or neither? abortion, the environment, gun control, health care, etc...

Do you think the U.S. would be better off staying out of foreign affairs? People like Monroe thought that we should leave other people alone, and warned that they should leave us alone.

Do you think this would work in today's world? Would it benefit or harm the U.S.? Just curious here as to what you think...

And to say no, would mean your criticism of the democratic government is premature. Definitely premature, because the democratic Congress has not even convened yet. And not to mention, republicans nationwide literally prove they have no idea what the agenda of the democrats is.
My advice is for everyone to be fair and patient, and to not jump to conclusions about what democrats will do.

For once, Bush gives democrats the credit they deserve.
In a recent interview he said that after talking with the new Congress to convene in January, Bush said democrats are equally patriotic as republicans.
Democrats, as well as republicans, have loved this great nation their entire lives because of the freedom and admirable American ideals.
Democrats never question the republicans' support of the US.
Republicans need to understand that the fact is, both parties are equally patriotic but simply have different ideas about how to run the nation.

And the fact that they have a history of raising taxes is not proof.
Also, why do republicans think Rangel is one of the most important democrats? He simply said he wouldn't extend the tax cuts in 2010. He didn't say he would raise taxes. On top of that, Pelosi and Reid have already stated maybe a thousand times that the plan is to reverse the tax cuts for the 1% richest Americans and help the middle class and poor with the rising cost of living. If you don't believe Pelosi and Reid, you are not believing the truth. And that's not our fault.

As could be expected from the Dems and their partner in crime, Al Qaida, they are both hailing the elections as a defeat to the war effort in Iraq. Just recently Al Qaida released a tape praising the results by stating "The American people have put their feet on the right path by ... realizing their president's betrayal in supporting Israel," the terror leader said. "So they voted for something reasonable in the last elections."

Al Qaida has also said that they are winning the war in Iraq, much like the Dems.

Is anyone else concerned about the fact that Republicans have been warning that the Dems are content with losing the war and allowing Al Qaida to kill more innocent Americans? Is anyone concerned that Al Qaida is happy about the recent election results? Every other election they were pissed that Republicans kept control. Not this time.

Please read the article and respond.

In the event of the war in Iraq being a total failure (fragmented Iraq), and as a result of the carnage it has caused, the hundreds of thousands killed by the bombing, the destruction of the country, due to the fact that the war was illegal in the first place and not sanctioned by the U.N., should the World Court in the Hague bring criminal proceedings against the instigators of the war, i.e. Bush, Blair, and other political leaders involved?
I think there's a huge public perception out there that those responsible will have to answer for their crimes.
