Probably war. I think Texas is the only state that put into its terms of statehood that it has the right to secede.

The one respondent was correct in pointing out that Texas included a RIGHT to secede when it was admitted for Statehood.

How about kicking a State OUT of the Union :-? Florida perhaps?

Well, look at Alabama, Louisiana, North & South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Texas, & Florida.
