Hi,
I'd like to hear what you think about the governor general in canada. Do we need to have a governor general in these days?
Thanks

As a mother and wife I can honestly say I spend very little time thinking about other couples and what they are doing in bed.
Isn't it preverted to focus so much time on how other people are having sex?
Doesn't it speak to a real abundance of time on ones hands?

Now that democrats will be in Congress with fairly thin margins, we WILL have bipartisanship. Bipartisanship is what has been needed for over a decade. Republicans just want to hog all the power instead of allowing democrats to influence their ideas to make positive changes for our great nation.

Why didn't the Republicans cry like the democrats and claim the election was stolen from them? What is wrong with them? Didn't they learn anything from the Dems in the last 3 elections. Cry,Cry, Cry, and undermine the republic by claiming stolen elections. Man, repubs must be stupid..... or do they actually trust the system of governemnt our founding fathers gave us?

I know you are not going to say the truth...that Congress was corrupt and did not care enough for domestic issues, and was too stagnant when it came to foreign policy.
So how else do you explain the elections?

all the time before elections that he will keep Rumsfeld serving until the end of his term, and that Rumsfeld decided to resign on his own only yesterday?
Is our president trying to confuse us?
Why can't Bush ever keep his stories straight?

Does anyone know what's the most common things traded by import/export, through legal and illegal channels, other than money and jewels? This is for research for my novel. (I'm not sure what category this would go under. If you know, please tell me and I'll ask it there.)

This is for research for my novel. What governmental department deals with that kind of thing: import/export trading? How do you know a fake TV from the real one and so on? Is there any way? (I'm not sure what category this will fall under? If you know, please let me know and I ask it there.)

Will it ever be cheaper or easier to do?

New law would require that all communication with government
(including proposals, new bills, speeding limits, etc) be in metric
measurements (perhaps with English standard in subtype).

Companies and individuals not communicating with the
government are free to continue to use the English Standard
system (or any other system).

Not cheap - but never cheaper. Ultimately reduce
communication costs for companies, reduce cost of
education since metric is easier to teach and less
error prone.

Is it time now?

........Then why do you have so much more hate speech and Muslim violence in the UK? Why is your country
such fertile ground for terrorism?
What are you doing wrong and what are we doing right in comparison with our Muslims?
What can you learn from us when it comes to keeping your Muslim population from becoming violent?

With impending devolution, and all parties allegedly agreeing to work together so Northern Ireland can rule on its own local issues like Wales and Scotland, why is it that the proud, unquestioning, obedient fighting force of the Irish Guards - (recruited from BOTH Northern and Southern Ireland - who fought TOGETHER as one in many historical battles, including recent conflicts,) why can't they be retained in Northern Ireland in many of the military establishments due for closure in the Province?

We are seeing a gradual dismantlement of the Irish Guards - already down to 1 Btn - and the thought of the total disbandment of such a Battallion, (when there is still SO much good they can do in Northern Ireland - Homeland Security, Ceremonial duties plus provide an excellent role model for community integration ) would be an absolute disgrace to the lives given without question by former Irish Guards throughout thier long, impressive history.

They are the Provinces' asset. Protect assets
