If it is an ILLEGAL war, as some say, then why isn't anybody leading the charge to get him impeached? Are all the congresspersons all talk and no game? Why isn't anybody trying to press impeachment charges against Bush for lying us into the war? Hmm.... unless it's all lip service and politics and there really are no grounds for impeachment. hmmmmm

We all heard him say it so there is no way to deny it. Why did he call soldiers dumb when he was one once? Democrats are always bragging that he got a purple heart. Why did he call himself dumb? I am even happier that this guy isn't our president after that speech.

The UN's Millennium Development goals aims at alleviating world poverty & to promote effective development. Major aid and debt relief commitments were made by the UN's 191 state members... But where are the results?? If current trends continue it will be difficult to achieve these goals within the given timeline (by 2015). So...back to the question...why do you think these goals have not been realised?

Strange that people that are in and have been to Iraq see it far different that people here sitting in their lazy-boys. The men and women that have been there tell of a thankful people and want the US to stay until the job is done. They see schools built Kids seeing doctors for the first time. Yes the is some problems but men and WOMEN voted for the first time even if they have to run from gun fire. The men and women that have been there tell of press that work all day to find the one person that will say US GO HOME. I just find it strange.

I mean, aren't we all Americans? aren't we all human beings? what ever happened to "government of the people, by the people, and for the people? "..lately it has seemed like the country is on the verge of a partyline civil war, getting down right nasty too, democrats and republicans actually verbally expressing pure, venomous hatred and mistrust of each other.. question is, how would such a civil war play out? folks, we need to get our act together, and sooner, rather than later.. the eyes of the world are on us and trust me, they are watching for any signs of internal weakness..and I've never, until recently ever thought of my country, the USA, of being capable of weakness...i still refuse to believe it...

I'm a smaller woman (5'3" and a tad on the skinny side of avg) and im moving to an apt by myself, my first without a roommate and feel i should get a gun for protection. I havn't shot a gun since i was a child. My boyfriend was talking about me getting a .38 but i feel that's too powerful, maybe a .44 instead.
What in your opinion would be a good gun just for protection?
Also since i havnt shot in so long should i go to a range again?

I have no children.

My dad's veterans marker was run over by a mower and severaly damaged. I asked them who was responsilbe sense the marker was not level with the ground like the others. They said it was the resposibility of the man placing the marker there and it should have been done to certain specifications and with the approval of the cemetery board. The man who placed the marker said there are no specifications as such and they should have seen it before they hit it. Do I have grounds to file a civil lawsuit? It costs 700 dollars to replace a veterans plaque.

i hve read articles that america wants to deploy thier missle shield in poland and romania,is'n't that against the profiliation missle treaty sighned by both the russians and americans 10 year ago.russia has said if those missles are deployed they will launch counter measures thus starting another cold war, america has allready broken the profiliation missle treaty years back when it decided to go ahead with their missle defence system. so it looks like the u.s.a don't want peace in the world, they want to rule it!! ohh and who ever says those missles in poland are for defensive purposes agains.t iranian or north korean attack is brain washed ,why are they deployed so far up north in poland, its would make sense to deploy them in southern european countries.
