Stop moaning, I'm sure you'd rather be alive than dead.

I think it does. When we are children we are innocent and don't really understand what is going on in the world, so I think it seems simple then. Life gets harder as we get older because we get more responsibilities, and more is expected of us. But at the same time, I think it's also more rewarding because we can learn to appreciate what we accomplish and how far we go in life, and we can appreciate the birth of a child, and growing old with a spouse, and living life to it's fullest potential. I'm only 20, but I look forward to those things, and I know I'll have to work hard for it, but it will be worth it. The more you work for something, the more rewarding it is. Hope I helped!

Yes it is. Socially, financially and morally.
I find it very difficult not rising up against all that is going on in the UK these days.
We're taxed to the hilt and get less in returns for that tax than we did ten years ago. We're inept at solving social problems and let hooligans rule our streets, and we're morally bankrupt issuing billions of pounds worth of speeding tickets and letting scum get off scot free with much worse crimes.
It's all gone a bit Pete Tong, hasn't it? But what can we do about it - apart from rebellion, and we don't do that sort of thing here anymore because we're so civilised!! Yeah, right.

It certainly is for us seniors who subsist on a fixed income. My health insurance premiums put me in a stranglehold, but I have to pay them or die, my grocery bill has gone up 30% since King George took office six years ago, and I have to sit idly by and watch as the finest of our young people are used for cannon fodder in Georges war. Yeah, life is gettin harder.

Not at all. The past three and a half years have been pretty good, and getting better all the time. You must be living wrong.
