why doesn't america make mexico join the united states as a state.. we are already joined as north america.. this way it would do away with boarder hoppers .. an every single person in mexico would be taxed as american citizens.. increasing the american money intake.. also lowering families supported by our goverment.. if mexico was to denigh our offer an deside to fight against us we could consider them a enemy an anyon caught crossing the boarder would be arrested and taken as a spy and or terrorist.. what is your thoughts on my idea???

Net Neutrality will prevent the largest phone and cable companies from blocking or slowing access to Web sites that don't pay their added tolls.

More than a million Americans have already voiced their support for Internet Freedom. But companies like AT&T, Verizon and Comcast are spending tens of millions of dollars to drown out the public outcry. Make your voice heard.

Bush is a coward because rather then taking a stance on Vietnam either pro or anti, he joined the National guard and then failed to pitch up for the last year of his service. He specifically stated in his enrollment that he didn’t want to see combat.

Bush is a coward, because on 9/11 he ran & hid, rather then flying to New York. Just as a hint of real leadership, the Rightwing’s most reviled president, Jimmy Carter, flew to 3 Mile Island, against his advisor’s advice, when it looked like it was about to melt down. Bush would NOT have done that.

Bush is a coward because he does not admit his own lack of wartime experience, but rather hides behind his pilot pose.

Bush is a coward, because he hires yes-men rather then people who know what they are doing. See Donald Rumsfeld (whose chief wartime experience was getting deferred) Mike Brown (whose resume has been proven bullsh*t by Time Magazine) and his head of the FDA

Am I dreaming, or is an extremist as radical as Ann Coutler really on the best seller list?

Is it just me, or does anyone else find that a person this extreme in their beliefs to be a radical nutcase? Whether you are conservative, liberal, or anything in between, don't you think this kind of crap belongs in extremeist societies, much like radical Muslim societies?
I'm not claiming to have read the book, but the title, alone, speaks for itself!
Please shed some light on why a real American Patriot would buy into this radical extremism, if they would...

Today, President Bush held a press conference in Vienna, Austria as part of a diplomatic visit to Europe. He was asked by a member of the press why approval for his policies, particularly on national security issues, was so low in Europe. Bush explained that Europeans didn’t take the 9/11 attacks seriously. “For Europe, September 11th was a moment. For us, it was a change of thinking.”

85 Europeans died in the attacks of September 11, 2001.

A Pentagon document classifies homosexuality as a mental disorder, decades after mental health experts abandoned that position.

Do you think that the Vice President's daughter Mary has a disorder
and should be commited? After all she's a lesbian with a "mental disorder" now...she's now a danger to OUR fragile society....

Will the Repuglicons petition the President to DEMAND & have the Veep's Gay daughter commited?

Why do the right wingers, ultra conservatives, or whatever they like to call themselves hate homosexuals?

As Christians, aren't they supposed to Love Thy Neighbor, be tolerant of others, Do unto others, etc., etc., or do they just use certain lines in the Bible to justifiy their own bigotry, then forget the rest?

Or is there some logical reason why they are trying to deny the basic rights and happiness of other people?

as we all know Bush went into Iraq for the oil - not to get more of Iraq's oil, but to prevent Iraq producing too much of it, thus adding to the coiffers of Big Oil...less oil, lower the supply, the higher the price...Chi Ching$ for Bush, Cheney, and OPEC!
How about we all invest in electric cars to cut the ******* off?
