Okay, first things first - white of course.

The War of 1812 started in 1812, but did not end until 1815 with the Treaty of Ghent. Most people think it ended with the Battle of New Orleans, "famously fought after the end of the war", but the British continued fighting after that battle. They were actually in control of a fort in Mobile Bay in present day Alabama when news of the Treaty reached them. At that point they packed up and went home to fight Napoleon again.
