I think this is very similar to when the Bush administration (for some reason this was barely covered by the media) attempted a HUGE push over the past 2 years to strong-arm PBS.

I truly believe the Republicans being owned by big business are trying to get control of all types of media. I mean think about it... if you can control all the news and information that ppl have access to then you can completely control what they think, belief in, and vote for.
