Sly Stalone was a coward who evaded military service and ran off to Switzerland to coach a girls vollyball team. That pussy even had the nerve to play a fictitious Viet Nam vet named John Rambo the opposite of the low life coward he was in real life. the sad fact is a real hero name Rambo did die in Viet Nam. Sly you should be ashamed.

Don't you think that this absurb war has gone on long enough. I saw on CNN today that another Teenager had been killed. He was only 19. That made me cry. All of you people, do something before more teenagers die for nothing.

First we find out that the war is creating more Islamic extremists and that scandals like Abu Grahib is helping the terrorists in their recruiting efforts. Now pretty soon we're going to find out that we're actually training them.

So now what?

It is rightly said, A kind hearted person can't win a war.

Let's give unlimited powers to military in Iraq.

And give them one mission, win the war at any cost.
war can't be win , if follow human rights and why should be follows human right, when terrorist don't follow. Forget world opinion, and let's do it. Make a rule, no iraq news in media

This may be werid...but I'm just curious. In respect to the men who lost their lives at Pearl Harbor in the USS Arizona...I realize that the bodies would decompose, leaving bones. Do bones eventually decompose in water, too? Or are all those bones lying at the bottom of that watery grave?

If someone recieves a Field grade Article 15 with 45 days extra duty, is the punishment "45 consecutive days"? I am a little more than half way done, but I was put on quarters for 8 days due to surgery. Can the command add those days onto the punishment, or do they still count toward the 45? I'm being discharged under Chapter 9, and all I am waiting on is my ETS Physical 1 & 2 to complete the legal packet.

that way if either country needs support it can be sent from iran. Iran is sending support into both countries insurgents so that would be stopped too.pluses:1) Iran baddie gov't is gone. 2) you are between the new gov'ts of afgan and iraq and able to give support when need to keep them from collapsing. 3) You eliminate iran state funding to terrorist grops operating in countries such as lebannon and those attacking israel.
4) no more chance of iran building nukes and maybe suppling them to terrorists. 5) you can slice of the kurd territory in both iran and iraq and combine it for a half decent sized kurdistan , in return kurds will give up fighting as rebels in turkey(a nato ally) in return maybe turkey will give up some kurd land too.
cons: would take another invaison and many more years of occupying a foriegn land.

FOR AMERICAN COMBAT VETERANS ONLY:

So I have heard many good things and bad things about the M-16 weapons family:

Good:
Light
Easier to maintain
Smaller caliber = more ammunition
High rate of fire

Bad:
Jamming problems
Lack of stopping power
Lack of penetration
Relatively fragile contruction

What I am basically asking is that, in a firefight on the streets of an Iraqi city, would you rather have your "trusty" M-16, M-4, M-249, (5.56mm) or would you rather have something bigger, like an M-14 or M-240 (7.62mm). Sure its a heavier weapon, and you can carry less ammunition, but is it worth the weight?
