I've heard numbers from 11,000,000 to 6,000,000. Does anybody really know?

No one really knows, but they say that 11 million were killed altogether, 6 million of those were Jews.
The other 5 million was composed of Christians, Gypsies, Handicapped, Gay or Bisexual, Soviet POWs, Jehovah's Witnesses, and non- Jewish Poles.

Nobody has any idea of the actual number.. A little research will prove that the 11 million figure, in fact even the 6 million is questionable because at the time this took place, one would heve been hard pressed to find that many Jews in Europe, and I'm sure Hitler didn't import them just to eliminate their numbers.
All depends on where you look and who wrote what article.

There is no precise number at this time but the number is close to 6 million, about 67% of the Jewish population at that time.

We know of 6mm, but those are based on nazi records. There may be more accounted for toward the end of war as well as sloppy record keeping
