How does this plan to invade mexico sound?

We take 4 army divisions (80000 soldiers) and 16 marine divisions(320000 marines) and 4 tank battalions(2400 tanks) with 3 supporting aircraft squadrons(45 craft) and move them south into baha california panhandle. Then we secure the area with the army and the tanks. Then the Aircraft are deployed from texas and california to destroy any communication arrays in mexico along with bases/key infastructure and the capitol city. Then they patrol along the strait of water between mainland mexico and the baha california panhandle. Now we truck about 300 howitzers in and station them on the eastern shore of the panhandle and turn the western seaboard of main land mexico into a parking lot. Then the navy comes in the strait and launchs cruise missles at anything left. Then the marine Divisons move in for a amphibious assault on the western seaboard of mexico and clear out any resistance. Driving the Mexicans to the sea (eastern seaboard of mexio) then a corps of the army (300k men) drive-

south into mexico from texas and help the marines.

They secure the southern mexican border and occupy mexico and replace leadership of mexico. Then along the way they kill any resistance and burn the drug fields. Meentime in the states the national guard are checking people for birth certificates and if they arnt valid they either can leave or die. ITS TIME WE DO SOMETHING ABOUT MEXICO!

We don't want Mexico we need to reinstall the goverment there so they can handle there Problems more effectivly and control there citizens better and there drug problem! Mexico will be the doom of us all I sware!

Also if we don't destroy our selfs first! As in a enternal colapse of our goverment!

I dont know if youve watched the move "A Day Without a Mexican" but if y ou get rid of the ones in California and anywhere else in the world then you KKK members will have to do all the back breaking labor yourself. Im not saying that justifies crossing the border illegally cuz it doesnt but you need to weigh the pros and cons.... so before invading Mexico think about all the innocent lives you are putting at stake its not just your own its many other innocents that dont need to be harmed and isnt being in the service about saving people and fighting for rights be it may whatever side your on? that makes you a hypocrite to do so

The USA might invade Mexico but not as you plan. When the first ICBMs are flying every direction, the invasion will be in the form of a terrified horde crashing the border and you will be among those questioning too late the wisdom of that 700-mile wall which will be working backward to its original intention. You should have a bail-out bag constantly ready for that day.

1. Pretty much all US troops are either busy in the Mid-East or in recovery from deployment right now.
2. We didn't have that many Marine Divisions even @ the height of WWII. We may have as many as 6 division equivalents now if we put seperate Marine Expeditionary Units together.
3. I don't think we need to be responsible for that much of Mexico or that many Mexicans.
4. The rest of the world would, justifiably, react to this the way we reacted to Saddam's invasion of Kuwait, & I don't think we want that kind of trouble.

The first step in any invasion of Mexico would consist of cutting off Mexico city from the rest of the country. This would be easily accomplished by air strikes and a few marine regiments landed north of the city. About the last thing I would do is funnel troops into Baja California where they're cut off and easily destroyed (albiet not by Mexico).

Pointless. Who wants Mexico? And why take Baja California first? There really isn't any tactical advantage to that penninsula. If you're going in, line 'em up from Texas to Arizona and march south while putting a battle group in the south at panama to catch anyone fleeing to the bottle neck.

I think if you tried doing that, latin american would be backing up Mexico. Al -Queda would then come in through Canada (like they do now) and attack from behind and since all your Man-power is with Mexico, you would be left vunerable.
