Sly Stalone was a coward who evaded military service and ran off to Switzerland to coach a girls vollyball team. That pussy even had the nerve to play a fictitious Viet Nam vet named John Rambo the opposite of the low life coward he was in real life. the sad fact is a real hero name Rambo did die in Viet Nam. Sly you should be ashamed.

Sly is an actor-nothing more. He gave the public what they wanted cinema entertainment. Stallone is not the first actor to skip a war but play a hero. In any case that was his job acting and "Rambo" was a character in a film.

i understand little or no approximately Mr Stallone's very own historic previous, so maximum of what follows is theory. As others have stated, he might have been prevented from serving simply by reasons previous his administration. Or he might merely not have been 'stated as up'. If he refused to enlist simply by trouble-free ethical or religious ideals, then that would not make him a coward in my e book. status up for what you have faith takes braveness. after all, actors' very own perspectives on the militia not often stop them from portraying squaddies if there is funds to be made - merely ask George Clooney or Matt Damon. by the style, not each American who enlisted in the '60s and '70s went to Vietnam; the united states of a maintained super militia forces someplace else, eg Europe, Japan and Korea, to not point out people who served on domicile soil, eg air defence workers. the militia desperate the place they have been deployed. So if somebody did not serve in Vietnam, it would not advise they intentionally prevented going there.
