how soon after basic trainning can they deploy you??

Not very fast. You have to go to the school of infantry first. After basic training you attend another school and then if you have another MOS besides grunt then you go to that school. Depending on the MOS it can take up to a year to finish your MOS school.

you have to go to your MOS school first. Then after that you will get your orders to your unit. From their you will be deployed to the feild, or garrisoned at base

After your MOS Training and for the that guy said to go 0300, women cannot be that MOS field.

just keeped packed. i just left there. they have all kinds of green necks there. enjoy boot camp....after that, its 125 degrees, sand in you cracks, and "dry". hahahhaah your going to love it.
