"Terror Disneyland". What **** thinks up these phrases? Are we to picture Goofy with an AK47 teaming up with the militant Mickey Mouse to chase Pluto down the road ?
Look to answer your question Iraq is an anarchic mess. Imagine if Iran is invaded? How worse things will get then !

Yes, but it will become more of one. This is a pretty much screwed situation because if we stay we lose and if we leave we lose. Personally, I think we should stay at this point but we shouldn't have been there in the first place. If we go, there will possibly be genocide as a new regime takes over, many more people will die, Iraq will hate us even more, a new generation of terrorists will come up, and Iran will gain even more power in the region. Of course, if we stay, I don't see much of an end in sight and it only brings us deeper into debt with each day. Like I said, a totally screwed situation.

We keep a lid on things. Without us the sectarian violence would be even worse.
Also, if we aren't there, it's easier for them to set up training camps, etc, since we aren't three streets over and ready to bust them up.

YEah - dick cheney just the other day made it extremely clear that they are completely clueless about what to do.
They claim that by keeping our soldiers within arms reach of the terrorists that they don't have to come here to kill civilians.
So in other words - our soldiers are just bait.
