my father was shot down over china during wwII , he was hidden by the chinees from the japaneese. are there any records on these places or people.

I live in the St. Louis Metro Area, and just recently my Honors Club at my high school made cards for the troops only to find out that they can be shipped to the troops in part of a large bundle. So now we are looking for a Christmas Card collection program going on that we can send the cards to so they can send them overseas. So does anybody know of any? Please help!

Can someone give me the bbc.co.uk link which refers to Tony Blair promising the Nation that "whatever our troops want, our troops will have"

The speech was made recently - certainly within the last 3 months but since re-formatting my computer, I have lost the link which was saved in my Faves :-(

The speech was very clear in his meaning.

I ask the question because of the absolute shock of a young Marine being killed this week in Afghanistan allegedly by small arm fire even though he was wearing a UK issue "flak-jacket"

and also how safe is this compared to any other army job this one seems to me like driving into danger he was wanting to become an engineer in the army and he passed the test but the recruiter seems to have talked him into being a driver what do think of this? My BF will be on an 12 months' assignment in Iraq after 3 months' training in Ft Riley. He's in the military transition team.

My son received his sentence for getting a DUI. He has to complete a four month alcohol class, pay a fine, and be on probation for three years. His lawyer will help him with a motion for the court to suspend the three year probation, once he completes his course and pay his fine.
