Iran. More resources, more people, bigger military, more money spent on military and on research and development of new and better weapons, previous war experience (Iran-Iraq war).

This question is really random, in my opinion. On the other hand, I am not sure you know these two countires well because the answer is very obvious. But no problem I would be glad to answer your question.
1. Bangladesh is one of the poorest nation on Earth. Half of its people (147 million) live on less than a dollar a day.
2 Iran has the third largest oil reserves on earth making it very rich since oil is currently liquid gold.
If they were to have a "military" war, this war would certainly be disproportionate. Iran has state-of-the art military technology whereas Bangladesh is far behind. Iran is more likely to win.
HOWEVER, in my opinion, if Iran was to deploy troops in Bangladesh (like USA did in Irak) they would get massacred. As I mentioned before, Bangladesh has 147 million people. In 1971, the Bangladeshi civilians (trained on spot) made the Pakistan army surrender. The pakistan army was a staggering 90 000 when they surrendered to the freedom fighter guerrillas of Bangladesh (the Mukti Bahini) . Although Bangladesh lost three million, victory was achieved. For your information, Pakistan has a more robust army than Iran.
Furthermore, Iran is expanding military power at the moment whereas Bangladesh has no interest in such acts. Bangladesh is the world's largest contributors of Peace Keepers, war is definitely not in their interest.

Iran would most likely win this war. When reading a book about the U.N. effort in Rwanda, the head of UNAMIR was not to impressed by the Bangladesh troops. Basically, they ran and hid when there was trouble. Iranian soldiers during the Iran Iraq war were stand up fighters.

Your question has no relevance since these two countries do not have common borders or any conflict whatsoever in the past and not in foreseeable time. However, for academic interest, we may discuss this issue “Who would win in a war between Iran and Bangladesh and why?
I am a Bangladeshi who worked in Imperial Iranian Air Force as Civilian for two years from June-1977 to June-1979. Out of my 24 months stay I had the opportunity to work under King Reza Shah Pahelvi’s regime for 20 months and from February-1979 under Ayatollah Khomeini’s rule for 4 months. The Iran at that time was about to be the regional super power (in the making) of Gulf region with modern & sophisticated Military hardware, spare parts and training catered mostly by USA (95%) and rest from France and UK. Nobody among its neighbor dared to pick a fight with Iran during Shah’s time.
But the ever cunning President of Iraq Saddam Hussein miscalculated his move and attacked Iran within years of Mullahs getting into power, since some sort of social upheaval/anarchy was prevailing in Iran at that time and Saddam thought that Iran could not fight back. After tenuous about 10-years fight Khomeini ‘swallowed the poison’ by way of agreeing to cease fire just to save people and property of both the warring sides from mutually-destructive war.
Now coming to your question, I could safely say that the ‘material’ things and resolve of the Iranian people is a bit ‘strong’ than those we can see in people from Bangladesh. This is not that if Iranian forces would come to Bangladesh for a fight then we would sit idly. What I am saying is that by the sheer strength of oil money and war-trained population with compulsory military training imparted to all able bodied Iranian having very robust built of their body, the Iranian are already having major advantages. So, the technology and all the money & manpower would be on Iranian’s side.
Now consider how the Pakistani Military got the beating when they started war against the Bangladeshi people from March 1971 to December 1971. The nation stood solidly with almost bare hand and fought a bloody battle with the help of India by political as well as military support (of course, for her own interest, and not out of love for the Bangladeshi people) the mighty Pakistani defence forces were almost annihilated. Consider the might of the USA & UK against Iraqi people and see how difficult it is to fight a country which is not a bordering country.
So, considering the latter scenarios we can safely say that in the short-term the Iranian can defeat Bangladeshis but in the long-term the case would be Bangladesh would gain the upper hand.
I wish you did not ask this hypothetical question and we are to write something which would never happen and we wish never ever to think in that line too. I hope we can look forward to our strengthening ties with great Persian people!
To Iranian people (sorry for the rusted memory of the Farsi): Agha/Khanum, Salaam - man arz kunam ke bebakshid'e man agar ke man ej galat guftam. Man shumare doost daram! Khasta na bashid! Khaile-mamnoon, Khuda Hafez!!
