accidently had alittle shoe polish on my belt buckle. DI told squad leaders to give a recruit a blanket party, the recruit ended up with a few broken ribs.one recruits mother mailed him some cookies and the DI made him eat it all in one sitting and the recruit couldnt eat it all and the DI shoved it down his throat, please tell me, getting food shoved down your throat prepares u for the battle field?? i went in the gas chamber, i done the procedures required in the gas chamber, and the DI told me to "stay awhile". anohter recruit paniced in the gas chamber, he passed out, was carried out of the gas chamber, and once he awaken, he was told to go back inside and get his weapon he dropped, with NO gas mask on. i never read this in articles, i been to MCRD san diego myself 26 years ago and witnessed all of this. i done good enough in boot camp to make honorary PFC upon completion of basic training. i aplaud the USMC in many things but some of their training tactics is simply abusive

He wrote to me saying he was having severe back pain and they did an MRI on him. I would think this constitutes for a medical discharge. He shouldn't have even been able to go in the first place if he has old back fractures that aren't healed right? He also said it showed water on his shoulder. If he doesn't get medically discharged is there any other way he can come home...I don't want him to hurt himself more than he already has there. They say only so many recruits who go to marine boot camp make it through so how do those who not make it get out? Any help is greatly appreciated...thanks!

I’m from London saw a really bizarre news story on the US news networks when I visited NY around 18 months ago.

I think the story was this, but please correct my errors:

After 9/11, a talented American Football star called Pat Tillman turned down a big contract to serve in the US military.

He was deployed in Iraq & then Afghanistan, where he sadly died. Initial reports claimed Pat ‘died defending our freedom’ during an ambush with enemy militia. I think he was given a military funeral & became a poster boy for military recruitment.

After a short period, it was reported that Pat didn’t die from enemy fire, but from friendly fire during the militia contact.

Then it was stated that the ambush didn’t even happen. There was no enemy battle.

Pat’s received multiple head shots from friendly fire, his clothes were removed, burned & a cover-up story followed.

I can’t find out what happened as the web is full of different theories, conspiracies, rumour & opinion. So why was he shot?

I saw Braveheart and I love how Wallace rebelled against the bully English. It's funny how guys in rags could defeat the most advanced army in the world. He was just like many people, who don't like bullies. He died a hero, and did not submit, like the English did before they died. The English are scum, even today.

A friend has a potential b/f who we suspect of lying about his past -- a LOT. He claims to have been a Colonel in the US Army; a Secret Service agent on the Clinton Presidential detail; and a major league umpire. Is there a list of Army officers, past and present, that is authoritative? We'd love to catch him in just one lie, irrefutably.

Simple question; who would win an all out war, Israel vs Iran. Now this isnt considering other countries pulling in to help (ie America for Israel, China for Iran, ect..) this is just Iran vs Israel, no other influences. Please explain why you chose who.

This means taking my wife and kids out of the states. I just want to know the Cost of Living. I would be a contractor with DOD. As a Vet I know the Military takes care of the troops, but as a civilian I am on my own. I don't want to go if I won't be making enough money.

Hello,

When Germans invaded France, from Belgium, I want to know if there were any French civilians and soldiers which escaped to Britain by sea/boats/ships?

I was looking on the net, but couldn't find anything about that.

have question when did the terrorists in Iraq cease to be terrorists and become gunmen. Are they trying to down play the terrorist part or are they trying to equate those that carry to terrorist?
If we were to go by the Old West terms I would be a gunfighter, because I use my tools to fight off the wolves. But in modern terms I would fall under a gunman mainly because I carry. I have never taken anyone hostage, never kidnapped, murdered, or slaughtered anyone. Those of us that carry for the protection of our families are commonly referred to as sheepdogs because we stand between those that want to do evil and those that are oblivious to the danger (or sheeple).
While we are all aware of that those in the media seam to be the least educated people in this country and they do have an agenda in this it's tough to see which angle they are going for, unless they are trying to kill two birds with one stone. Making the monsters not look as vile as they really are?
