I saw Braveheart and I love how Wallace rebelled against the bully English. It's funny how guys in rags could defeat the most advanced army in the world. He was just like many people, who don't like bullies. He died a hero, and did not submit, like the English did before they died.The English are scum, even today.

Answer to your actual question is undeniably YES.

The rest of it just clouds your question. The Scots have been some of the most inspired soldiers ever. Read the exploits of various Highland regiments in various wars ... mostly fought for the glory of Britain as a whole, and not Scotland per se.

The English are not scum, btw.

After seeing brave heart I"m proud to have some scotish in me.... Yes, they gave england a run for it's money but they still had to submit and thus now are part of england...

EDIT Hey you know what I just thought about? I'm half scotish and live in America dose that mean my people kicked Englands butt twice? once in scotland and the other here at home?
