i mean if they should counter attack with nuclear weapon too or choose another way? if they answer with nuclear weapon, what will happen to the world?

I feel that other countries SHOULD refrain from retaliating on behalf of one of the countries and SHOULD do what they can to assist the injured. But we all know that won't happen because each country would want to rataliate on behalf of their "friend/ally" country.

In the event of retaliation with nuclear weapons, we can pretty much rest assured that the world will become a waste land.

Thats why you dont see 2 countries directly fighting eachother that has major Nuclear Power. Like you will never see Russia and the US declare war on eachother; the US might help Israel and fight Iran, and Russia might help Iran and fight Israel. (Russia and Iran vs US and Israel) but you will never see 2 MAJOR nuclear powers declare war on eachother, even though technically they will be at war.
