Israel vs Iran..?

Question

Simple question; who would win an all out war, Israel vs Iran. Now this isnt considering other countries pulling in to help (ie America for Israel, China for Iran, ect..) this is just Iran vs Israel, no other influences. Please explain why you chose who.

Centrion- Yeah, people are saying that the China will back Iran to fight us. But unless China wants to throw away to hundreds of billions of dollars we owe them, then they wont.

I personally think Israel would anniliate Iran; someone said something about numbers, 50million to 7million. But thinking that everyone in Israel from the age of 18-42 (Not sure what the age limit is, but its something like that). So Israel had a mulit million man Army, is loosing 15,000 a year and is gaining 60,000-70,000 each year.

Israel and the US against Iran and all the other islamofascist countries. If we had total war, The US and Israel would annihilate them. I don't see China jumping in. Russia would side with the islamowhackos before that happened. China, probably would back us since we buy so much stuff from them.

Israel hands down. They haven't lost a war yet. They have better equipment, and training for the troops.
Iran on the other hand has a large army but I don't think they have what it takes.
Here's why.
First the US took out their navy in the 80's, and their air force is using jets that couldn't take on Israel's.

Second Iran fought a war in the 80's that cost them a lot of lives. Not to many people want to fight. Sure you see people wanting to fight on the news, but it's just show.

Last should the US and China get into the mix, it would mean the end of life as we know it. It could turn out to be a nuke fight, that means no winners.

Anyways, this is a meaningless question, since a war between those two countries would certainly have other countries involved. We are already involved, selling Israel many weapons systems, such as the F-16.

If Iran attacked (it wouldn't be the other way around), it would be just like the US sitting in Iraq for 4 years and not accomplishing anything, except the promotion of a cycle of worsening violence. Iran wouldn't be able to overpower the people.

If they had a nuke though, which I suspect they will soon, I'm sure they will let it fly. Fun for all...and the end of world civilization.

I suggest doing a lot more reading and studying on these issues first, before glamorizing such an event. The middle east will be the downfall of world civilization, as oil becomes scarce, which it will.

Well considering that there are a few countries in the middle of such a war if it was going to start - it would be hard to say. Israel probably has the ability to hit Iran harder than Iran can hit Israel, but you are comparing a country of 6 to 7 million people to a country of nearly 50 million people. China's support for Iran would be luke warm at best for Iran. Its the ther middle eastern states and how they would react that matters. Unless Iran gets nuclear weapons they are mostly safe from direct attack from Iran.

i imagine of it is eventual. I ahte to have self idea that, yet that finished section is a powder keg waiting for a spark. As for even with the truth that if Israel has the significant outstanding to preemptive strike? Thats a real complicated one. in accordance to Israel they are going to strike using very truth they don't want a repeat of the holocaust. yet it is with the idea it may ensue. And if Israel does carry out a preemptive strike then it is obtainable that anti-Israeli rhetoric ought to strengthen. who knows of. Iran would not even understand Israel, so so a ways as they are in contact (i'd have self idea) Israel can shove off. Even without nukes Iran can impact topics in numerous parts a ways from abode by using thier economic valuable residences.

Israel if only the two countries enter the war, Israel has one of the best trained and equipped armies in the world. They have also be in a state of war readiness for 40 years, and have a great deal of military experience. Iran fought Iraq for years to a stand still, Israel have won every war they have been in. The psychology of Israel is also important as they are prepared to fight a war and are not concerned by media and world opinion, they will do whatever it takes to survive. The Israeli people would also be 100% behind their army and the war and have a history of enduring loss and hardship to pursue their aims, I do not think the Iranians would have the same level of support amongst their won people.

the us single handily supports Israel, with no help from the us they would have no weapons/funding for any war. Iran on the other hand has more than enough money/weapons/technological ability to fund the war. so do you mean us troops or no us help period?? even with us money and technology Iran would win. then again there's no way the world would allow Iran to attack Israel even in defense.

If no one else was involved it would be Iran, because without the aid of the only country too stupid to figure out that Israel is evil is the one giving it all it's weapons.

With a far superior air force and military Technology, Israel would win hands down. The question would be who would strike first ? If Iran had a nuclear bomb , and used it first, then there would be no way that anyone else would not step in. Israel would react in kind if they would be attacked first.

Iran have far more resources and a much larger army. Iran also has nuclear weapons. Israel do not have the population or resources to sustain a long term campaign. Hence Iran would win.
