How much does it cost? Can I send homemade baked goods w/o them getting thrown away? Is there a website that lists the soldier's interests (so the first letter doesn't seem so damn impersonal)? Anything I haven't thought of yet?

British and Canadians weern't to far behind them. First Canadians what do they know ice hockey and cold weather in that order. The English they dont want to fight untill they start dropping 500 pound bombs on their cities. When everyone says your wrong. Bet your bottom dollar that you are right. You want to critasise a Bush do it to senior for not doing the job right the first time. Then we wouldn't be in there in the first place.

Im hoping someone can help me with this. My niece joined the Marines about a year ago.

She called me today wanting my wifes identification # for her security clearance (my wife is from Europe). Initially, I told her I wasnt going to give her any of my wifes info. Then we decided it might be in our best interest (no FBI, CIA, etc) to just give my neice my wifes drivers license #. We did, but now wonder why this is really needed. If this was needed, wouldnt the Marines contact us directly? I think something fishy is going on and want to get to the bottom of this. Can anyone here offer us any advice on what we should have done and what we should do now? Isnt it odd my neice is asking for peoples ID numbers? If she is up for some sort of security clearance shouldnt the Marines contact us directly? I just dont like the smell of this. And if we dont give the info, Adolf Bush is gonna send the Marines in on us.

I have done 4 yrs of Air Force JROTC and 2 of AFROTC in college, I planned on going to the Air Force as an officer but right now im really tired of school plus I dropped ROTC in college because they showed to much favoritism to a few cadets and it really turned me off they only needed me when they wanted me to teach a few senior's how to twirl a rifle , half us did not know each others name and in Army ROTC it seemed like they were so close or connected... I went to all the recruiters and got basic info I really liked the Navy recruiter... I would like to be a Linguist ( Korean ) just wanted to know which branch would treat me right or really need me?

I'm dying to see it. But unfortunately I've got 4 major yearly exams coming up. So has anyone watched it? It's it good? Please give it a rate (out of 10) and add some personal opinions about it! (but don't give me too much detail coz I hate it when people tell me everything about a film before I see it) Thanks a million!

I'm curious how this is verified. And I'm particularly interested in knowing if there is a list of names of people who have died in combat.

Insurgents are claiming 15,000 US soldiers have died. If the names of soldiers is available, then we would have verifiable proof that they are incorrect.

Somehow anybody who could possibly terrorize the U.S. disappears? Then the troops come back to a country that will never be attacked from foreign or domestic terrorists? Then, everybody just goes back to work and school? And somehow Afghanistan and Iraq become nonviolent countries?

I've been asking questions about freedom and people seem to think we're so lucky here in the USA. Ok, I agree, it is nice here. BUT, because some other country is not free or is run by a dictatorship, does that mean we need to go into it and murder the slaves? There is a flaw in the logic in SOME American's thought processes....
