Just curious what MOS's have the least chance of deployment. My husband has been deployed once and I am not looking to have him go again. He is going to change to active duty army and I was hoping someone could tell me the best MOS for him that is not in Alaska or somewhere cold but that is not really deployable.

Im getting married and Im moving out to a military base in Germany. I was just talking to one of my sisters friedns and he really got me thinking. He said not to go and to let him have his fun and I should have my fun. The thing that got me the most was that he said Army marriages (or any military branch) do not last and if they do its rare. Is this true?

I would love to become a diplomat, and to become one an individual must obtain a substantial amout of Education and military services (a job with a top secret clearance) under his/her's belt. But before i become one i will love to be a Military Police Man( in the best branch that could guarante me the Job and not send me to war).

Condoleeza Rice got a little too comfy with Katie Couric and discussed Golfing, Cooking, Piano Playing, Church Attendance and then admitted to "not being one to really think about the future".

Bad move, condi... bad move.

If so, what other countries do you think will be drawn into the conflict and on which side will they be? Also, if you don't mind, give a little reasoning behind your view.

I just heard Dick Durbin speak at a press conference, AGAIN. And AGAIN I was appalled at his arrogance, and insulting remarks. I want to apologize to our soldiers for voting for him. I also need to apologize to those brave Iraqi people who literally risked death to cast their votes in the past year and who continue to work with our troops to build a strong Iraq. I'm sorry I helped put a man in power who is more concerned about his political career than your efforts.
Saying I'm sorry isn't enough, is it?

Why does it appear that Democrats support the troops, and not the war. And the Republicans support the war, and not the troops.

Can individuals who have had refractive eye surgery become USAF pilots? I'm entering Air Force OTS soon and have a near-perfect PCSM score (98 out of 99) which would virtually guarantee me of a pilot's slot if only I didn't suffer from nearsightedness. I guess my other question would be, could I have this procedure performed by a flight surgeon to have it approved by the USAF?
The thing is, I'm not sure I want to have to settle for a position as a navigator just because of my eyesight, and a lot of current USAF pilots are telling me the same thing.

Waiting for Gore-doh... Since Al Gore was offered the opportunity to facilitate serious debate on the underlying science of global climate change, 8 months, 3 weeks, 1 day, 23 hours, 7 minutes, and 41 seconds have elapsed. Despite milking lucrative speaking engagements and book deals with his global warming schtick he declines any such debate. Perhaps he's afraid of the Real Inconvenient Truth.
