Waiting for Gore-doh... Since Al Gore was offered the opportunity to facilitate serious debate on the underlying science of global climate change, 8 months, 3 weeks, 1 day, 23 hours, 7 minutes, and 41 seconds have elapsed. Despite milking lucrative speaking engagements and book deals with his global warming schtick he declines any such debate. Perhaps he's afraid of the Real Inconvenient Truth.

I don't really know about Al Gore's motives. I try really hard not to pay any attentions to his outrageous rhetoric. However on Global Warming there is no true scientific concensus on this issue. Take some of the claims made in this post. We have 10 years and then we are all doomed. One man makes a statement which flies in the face of commonsense, and the adherents latch on to it. The fact that this statement is downplayed by even hardcore global warming supporters in the scientific community does not seem to matter. Unfortunately ,too much science is not about truth and discovery these day, it's about government grants and funding. Scientists have proven they will make whatever claims are necessary to keep their coffers full. When it is disproven they just act like it never happened. Take hurricanes, how many scientists predicted all kinds of doom and gloom on the hurricane front this year, only to slink back in the dark crevices when their predictions proved totally false. Scientists change the rhetoric every 15-20 years. Does anyone remember the predecessor to global warming? Global cooling and the new iceage. How about the hole in the ozone layer? The simple fact is that we have not been studying global temperatures for long enough to properly analyze climatology over geologic timescales and anyone who tells you they know the truth is following their own agenda. Global warming may indeed be real, but there is not enough evidence to support whether it is man made or natural in origin.

Quite the Contrary, Sir:
I would like to think that the reason Mr. Gore has
failed to appear in such a debate is that he has
no clear method to calculate the billions and billions
of cubic feet of jet engine exhaust gases poured into our upper atmosphere daily by Commercial Jet Aircraft and Military Jet Aircraft. Those pollutants are released much, much higher into the atmosphere than any exhaust gases produced by autos and trucks on the surface of the earth. As a result, jet exhausts have a more immediate effect on the ozone layer than any earth bound polluter could possibly have.
Why don't we simply propose a program for Earth Greenery which would require each individual on earth to plant 500 trees and end this mess for ever?

Who presented to communicate him? Why would he be the only to communicate the underlying technology of international climate replace? he's not a scientist, regardless of each and every thing. He has taken up a reason that he feels (as a lot of human beings worldwide do) is had to the survival of each and every residing ingredient in the international, and he's performed a especially strong interest of having the note out. Why ought to he debate every person about it? the vast spouse kiss for the period of his run for president change into schtick, international warming isn't schtick. every person who needs a severe debate on the concern would, i'd desire, seem to quite scientists for the arguments, no longer politicians, any seventh grader ought to allow you to do not ignore that. So what are you searching for, a pissing tournament between Al Gore and Ann Coulter( I listen she has the kit) that would in worry-free words effect in making anybody opt to puke? and what's this "authentic Inconvenient reality" you spew about, have you ever made that up on your head yet? Your fantasy international is melting dude.

I don't know why you're still so convinced that global warming isn't real. Several months ago, there was a "60 Minutes" interview in which a former NASA scientist stated that he had issued a report stating that we only had 10 years left to reverse the global warming trend. However, Bush administration officials saw fit to edit the report to downplay the danger. Call me crazy, but I'm more inclined to trust the word of a trained scientist than I am a bunch of politicians who are in the pockets of the big oil companies and major corporations.

First, the answers aren't his own and second, he hasn't a clue what or why he's talking about global warming. How anybody can seriously think that Al Gore is concerned about anyone other than Al Gore is a mystery to me.
