Anyone out there doing Network Switching Systems Operator/Maintainer (25F) MOS? How's it like out in the field? How about deployments? Do they get deployed a lot?

i'm a 25Q. we work hand in hand with 25F. yes, you do deploy, just as much as everyone else....think of it as a phone company and a 25F would be the main operator. good job with many vaulable skills that help if you decide to get out of the military.

In the army...as in the Marines; every person is a rifleman 1st and their MOS second. That's way everyone goes to basic combat training. Never think that any MOS won't or can't be deployed.

Good luck.

Same as everyone else. I had a friend who was in finance. You wouldn't think they would have much use for him in combat. Well, he spent most of his deployment doing convoy escorts. No one is safe from deployments or combat.
