I would love to become a diplomat, and to become one an individual must obtain a substantial amout of Education and military services (a job with a top secret clearance) under his/her's belt. But before i become one i will love to be a Military Police Man( in the best branch that could guarante me the Job and not send me to war).

If service at a base is what you are looking for, the Air Force is the only branch of the services that routinely sends it's officers to war and leaves the enlisted safe at the base. Coast Guard is a good other choice but none are absolutely safe. Also Navy if you can handle sea duty.

No matter what branch of service you go into or what job you take you still have a chance of deployment... And being an MP *military Police* is alot of work... You will work shitty hours most likely and you'll have a higher chance of deployment.... Maybe you should do some research into all branches of the military before making any decisions... And just remember that Promises by your recruiter don't usually happen... And just because you're promised a job doesn't mean you'll get it.... Just be careful no matter what you choose... The military is like a double bladded sword... It has it's great moments but it also can rip out everything that you know and love... I'm a military spouse My husband found out alot of stuff the hard way... And it sucks for my children and my husband and me when he's deployed.... If you have a family make sure it's ok with them,,,, They'll be your support group once you sign up...
My husband is Air Force he deploys to Iraq at least once a year...

It's ultimately good to do your own research but through the years I have found that the Air Force is the gentler way to go. They are known for their intelligenve. Also if you join another branch of the military you cannot go back and join the Air Force like you can with the other branches. Plus the Air Force is alot more about politics. In the Army if you are tough and work hard you will get far but in the Air Force you do have to play politics. Then there is the family factor. If you want a family A.F. is more likely to transfer them with you and work with you. Other branches seem to be less likely to me. This is all my opinion and I have much respect for other branches of the military. I am only speaking about the things i know since I have no right to talk about things I don't. There is never a guarantee that you won't get sent to war. It is part of being in the military and you need to accept that it may happen before y ou sign on with any branch.

Air Force, Coast Guard or Navy. Not Marines or Army or National Guard.

There are some Air Force and Navy in Iraq, but very few.

You should know that being a military cop does not say the same things about intelligence that a civilian cop job does. There was a saying in the AF that if you flunked out of your chosen field, you became a cop. If you flunked out of that, they made you a cook.

You would be better served to join an ROTC program at a major university with a minor in foreign languages. This would give your end goal a significant boost. The most critical languages to learn right now are written Arabic and the spoken languages of India, Pakistan, and the major dialect of China. None are easy to learn.

If you want a job that has a top secret clearance MI is the way to go. Most of us need it as a requirement for our MOS. If your worrying about deploying you need to get over it. You cant join the army and or any other branch and not expect to deploy. You'll just have to suck it up and work on. Some of the bes stuff in life comes when you work hard for it and there aint nothing harder like trying to do your job with mortar rounds flying overhead!

There are no jobs in any military service that would guarantee not to send you to war. That's why it's called MILITARY. To get any kind of security clearance, you would have to go through a tough investigation background check. I'm not sure you can even qualify for that. If you can't handle war then what makes you think that being an MP is any safer?

I would suggest a job in cryptology or some other intell mos. Although you don't need military service to be a diplomat you just need to know people in govt. You could be a politician then you become friends with people in power and bang instant ambassador. If I were you I would master a foreign language Farsi and mandarin are in top demand for the foreseeable future. This skill would open many doors for you.

you selfish prick. I'm in Iraq working 84 hour weeks, and you're sitting at home trying to be an MP but not go to war? Do us all a favor and don't join the military. Military service is not a convenience. It is a privilege that not everyone gets. Still some people join the military, and they have to tell their grandchildren that they shoveled sh** in Louisiana during the war.

Boys Scouts of America, because when you join the US Military, you will go where they tell you and all military Branches of the Armed Forces of America are there for a reason and that is to fight wars, so you will not be suited for the military.
