I would very much doubt it, asthma is one of the very few no no within pretty much all the services in several different countries, it appears that asthma and diabetes comes under the under NO circumstances rule, unless you had childhood asthma and have now out grown it BUT this would be very very strongly checked out prior to them allowing you to join.

My brother join the US army but his asthma was not bad at all just at meps he had to tell them what meds he was on but he had never had it that bad and was fine call a recruiter tho it could be wavered

I can't speak for Canada, but in the US, if you had CHILDHOOD asthma, they can waiver it. If you STILL have bouts with it, you are permanantly disquailified. That is IF they know about it, but they only know what you tell them, no matter what they say. It just depends on how bad you want to join.
