Freedom costs a price. Not money, but fighting in war's do defend one's country. What choice would someone who is antimilitary/antiwar have on say the revolutionary war? or WW1&2? What would happen if the N. Koreans dropped some nukes, would would you have then? What happens when it's too late?

Does anybody recommend ASVAB for dummies? I heard that there are some mistakes in the ASVAB for dummies, but some people still recommend it.

What about 18th edition, anyone recommend that one?
It is a longer book.

In the 70s Kerry testified before a Congressional Committee the things he witnessed in Vietnam. These included rape, murdering innocent women and children, and mutilating bodies. These things were common and I myself witnessed some of these actions. Chickenhawk neocons have been calling Kerry disloyal and treasonous ever since. Now the same kind of things are being reported in Iraq. We even have officers encouraging troops to report wrongdoings. Will we hear more slander for the next thirty or so years against those who report or testify?

The stories about the soldiers accused of rape and murder in Iraq say they tchanged out of their uniforms to avoid detection. In some instances a soldier would lose "protection" if captured in civilian clothes.
Are the men accused in Iraq "soldiers" "spies" or "enemy combantants?"

The Soldier, who was shown as recruiter in poor neighborhood in Micheal Moore's movie, was killed this week. He was told that it was a documentary on Soliders. He was not told it was propaganda against the Military & Commander In Chief. He was so embarassed to be in film , he called & requested his parents & wife never see film. Out of respect for him, they never have seen it. He died in a roadside bombing in Iraq. His father said he lived his life to serve the USA Military & he died the way he would have chosen - serving the USA.

I have heard that being an MP will NOT help your chances of becoming a civilian police officer. I have also heard from people, including cops in my hometown, that it will only help me. I know that they differ in some things, maybe even alot of things, but I think the experience alone would give you a step up on other people applying and also be a big help when you actually attend the police academy.

So whats the deal? I mean if you have an interest in law enforcement is being an MP a waste of time as a job in the military?

Do you think that special forces or any military branch will use active camouflage to make them look invisible or is it just a concept that will never be used.
