Does anybody recommend ASVAB for dummies? I heard that there are some mistakes in the ASVAB for dummies, but some people still recommend it.

What about 18th edition, anyone recommend that one?
It is a longer book.

I never read either of these books before taking the ASVAB, so I can't really help you out - sorry. However, if you're studying for the ASVAB you might want to ask your recruiter about tutoring. When I was in the military we had a volunteer program set up. Military members would go to local schools and help out the students who were interested in raising their ASVAB scores.

Just remember not to freak out when you take it. I was really worried that I failed because I knew I missed some answers but in the end I got a 99. I think it's cool that you're trying to improve your score but it doesn't sound like you're going to have many problems. You sound smart enough, so relax. :) My fiance used to be a recruiter and he once gave a practice test to a guy who asked, "Does it matter if I don't read so good?"... The guy passed.
