Canadians have a population of 30 million USA 300 Million. Do the math. In canada our focus is social side and not military might.
Our country was founded on sound principals for it's fellow man not a war machine like the USA.
Your military needs to be at work as you have too much invested in it.

Canadians wouldnt be to concerned about the Yanks anyways...other than free health care, snow, reindeer and pine trees...nothing much worth conquering. And Canadians know this...which is why they can afford to downgrade their military power and "slack off".

How is their military slacking off? It never does a military good to be idle and soft, so I suspect they are just focusing on other things.

Yes they do. If Canada had to invest the amount of money it costs to defend itself, Canada wouldn't be able to give free health care.
Canada knows and depends on the fact that any event (terrorist or 3rd world dictator or major war ) would also threaten the USA and it is in our own best interest to see a free and safe neighbor to our North
