This is a follow up to my question of why we send our children to war, I received great responses that mirrored some of my own feelings. There are good reasons to fight a war, but I can find none in the case of Iraq.

In the year prior to 9/11/01 NORAD scrambled jets 67 times rapidly and effectively to intercept aircraft that had gone astray. Payne Stewarts plane was surrounded by fighter jets less than 20 minutes after it lost contact with ground control, and it was over rural Misssissippi.

It's of my opinion that this war would have been over long ago if we didn't have the press right there, trying to make sure nobody gets treated unfairly. C'mon people, it's war. Torture, unfair methods and mistreatment of prisoners has happend in every war on BOTH SIDES since the dawn of man. There is no good manners in war. It's not pretty, but it's war!
Do you think that the media should get out and let the military do their jobs or do you feel they are a necessary part of this war?

My main problem is that I suffer from depression. I have been to a lot of doctors and have gotten some pretty weird diagnosis that I know could not be true. Can this prevent me from joining the army?

Ok, well here is the deal (this is not a joke...)

Me and my grandpa (he used to design fighter jets) drew up a sort of tank that can blow down vehicles, people, and possibly airborne crafts. It can go on land and underwater.

There was this one guy I was chatting with on the net and he said he lived in russia, and worked in a factory and some group of people were hurting russia or something, so I gave him the plans...

Do you think this is for real, and is there any possible way to fix this?

Just looking to evaluate my physical condition prior to enlistment in the US Army, and improve it. If any current/former men/women in the US Army/Army Rangers can give me an idea as to what I should do to prepare myself both physically/mentally for a future (hopefully) career (until 60) as a US Ranger it would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

My fiancee left today for his Army basic training. What's a good way to deal with him being gone? I can't hang out with all my friends because he has reasons not to like them and I don't want to break my promise.
