A friend was killed 3 years ago. A very good man who loved the Army. Sgt Todd Robbins. 33 years old. Wife and one child. Killed 3rd April 03. He spent 13 years in the Army and loved every year of it. He was hard working and honest and lived up to the high standards of the Army. He is missed by his family and friends.

Every man and woman who wears the American uniform has my admiration, respect, gratitude, and support. But here are three I love dearly: my big brother, Sergeant Brian Mehnert-glad you made it home safe and sound, Bubba; my cousin, Specialist Bobby Frank (off to Iraq in five weeks)-stay safe, Bobby, and we'll have a beer waiting when you get home; and the love of my life, Sergeant Cole Samson--four more months, baby! Then you'll be coming back home to me! I can't wait to be with you again!

My best Donald Dont'e, who's currently in the United States Marine Corps. He's my very best friend, and we've shared so much together, and I only hope that our future is as bright. He'll always be in my prayers, definitely now that he's going overseas in September to fight for our country. Love you lots, sweetie!! Semper Fi!!!

My husband, and myself are both in the Army. I was already pregnant when our orders to go to Iraq came, so I was left behind while he toured, but I will go if I am called again. Our nation's freedom is non-negotiable, and I'd be honored to fight to keep it!
