I am the mother of child, who I found out, at age 15 had sex for the first time with a woman, who is much older and should have known better. He turns 18 next month. He has no intensions of prosecuting her, as he feels he was not assaulted and says that it was consensual on his part and hers. Do I, as his mother have any choice in this matter? If I wanted to prosecute her, what would I do. He has said he would never testify against her. What do I do, let it go? Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to land a decent paying job in Houston, Tx or it's subsidiaries with only a Paramedics or Police Officer (I think it's called TKLEOS) certification? When I say decent, I mean around $30,000- $35,000 a year. I am unsure as to whether or not the certification is meaningless without the traditional 60 credit hours required if you want to work with the city.

I have nothing against policemen in general, I have 2 extended family members who are. I've just noticed a sense of power and control coming from some. Again- I'm NOT anti-policemen!

Hi guys, hope you all can provide your views or answers. This is the rough story,

Last year, a lawyer drafted out a contract for the rental of my own car to a second party. However, the person who signed the contract did not declare that she does not hold a valid driving license and proceeded to sign as the hirer and user of my vehicle. Could this be cheating, false declaration, breach of contract or others? Could I sue her for some compensation or am I at fault for not checking her documents?

Thanks for reading...
Cheers...

He has driven this around for months, he is one of those good ol boys, and think that he is John Wayne or something. And he will tell you he is the law and he doesn't have to do what everyone else is required to do? What would you do? If I have to obey the law - why should he keep on getting away with this.

His father and I were there and witnessed everything. He did not assault the police. His court case is coming soon and we are all extremely concerned . A police complaint has been made because of the lies and deception. If he has any convictions against him he will loose his career That is just one reason he would not have committed the charge in the first place. He has no previous convictions against him and has never been to court before.Scottish law. Thank You
