What is the LEGAL age of consent in Wi.?

Isn't the legal age of consent to have sex in wi. 18? I believe I saw it in the wi. ss #948.01 What can you tell me about this?

It's a bit more complex than that, but yes it is 18 for the most part. (However, the age of the other participant matters as well.)

It is more complicated than just 18; if two 16 yr olds wish to have sex, they can consent, but a 16 yr old and an 18 yr old cannot.
