I believe immigration is a good thing to have a multi cultural community. But mass immigration is becoming suffocating and in my opinion some immigrant's are just coming to the uk and causing trouble.

Well, like it or not, 90% of Americans are mixed with Hispanics(mostly Mexicans). So I think Americans should speak Spanish too.

i do not even know why the topic of illegal immigration has been blown up the past year or two
because it's nothing new
but it seems to have revealed alot of bigotry
in general but more so for religous people
why do people act as if their lives and way of life is so superior to anybody else
it's truly insane
that is devilish behavior

you're not thinking all the way through

I've heard some people say, "They're demanding that we speak their language." Granted, usually those are privileged white people who never talk to Mexicans.

But, I've never met a Mexcian who demanded that I need to speak Spanish.

Have any of you?

Authorities say four men arrested in the course of raids on pot farms hidden in Southern Oregon forests this week are part of a Mexican drug cartel that is growing pot for national distribution.

In recent days teams of state police, Jackson County deputies, and federal agents have cut some 42,000 marijuana plants potentially worth more than $100 million from sites near Applegate Lake about 20 miles southwest of Medford, authorities said. Police arrested the three men in the pickup, identified as Zaragoza-Infante, Timoteo Hernandez-Guzman, 46, and Angel Cardenas-Estrada, 20, on charges of conspiracy to manufacture marijuana.

In a dawn raid last Friday, authorities netted 32,000 marijuana plants from two plantations, and found two armed men. One got away, but the other was arrested. Jose Guadalupe Gomez-Gonzalez, 22, told agents that he was paid $1,500 a day to tend the plants.

Agents returned Tuesday to the woods near Applegate Lake, where they removed up to 10,000 more marijuana plants.

All four men were being held without bail on immigration holds, authorities said.

It just occured to me that when I hire people to do work in the yard, I would never think to ask if someone was "legal" or not
until nowadays. Why should I ask them? I am not running a business in the sense that I think I should ask.

A pro-illegal guy forwards an email depicting the sheriff as a KKK member about to hang a Mexican. Can you imagine the howling from the left if the roles were reversed? Oy Vey!! Since the sheriff is the one depicted as a racist all is well and poo pooed on the left.

At least one Hispanic group supports Sheriff Joe Arpaio's immigrant hotline.

The group You Don't Speak for Me showed up at the his downtown office, Wednesday, to praise his efforts to crack down on illegal immigration.

Members of the group met with the sheriff outside his office to offer him their encouragement and support.

Anna Gaines with the group says the immigration hotline is a good idea. "I support it 100 percent. And I feel this is the rule of law. We have to enforce it."

A report that FM News/Talk 92.3 aired Wednesday said that increased illegal immigration enforcement left fewer people on America's farms and was a factor in higher groceries prices.

Gaines says that's not true. "I go to the stores and see people that just came here from Mexico or from another country with five, six little children and they use their food card to buy groceries. That's why the groceries are so high, not because illegals aren't working."

"They use a lot of food stamps. They use the food program. They use all the benefits that we have for our citizens and they are overused. We are really going poor. We are growing very poor every year be because of illegals being here using the benefits they use."

Critics say the sheriff's hotline that allows the public to report illegal immigrants will lead to racial profiling.

Gaines says those claims are made because the anti-hotline groups have nothing else as a defense.

"In 1992, The New York Times said NAFTA promised "jobs, wealth and economic activity throughout the continent." Over 15 years later, we clearly live in that shining new era of free trade:
Canadian economist Bruce Campbell details a net loss of 276,000 jobs under free trade, beginning with the U.S.-Canada deal in 1989.

U.S. economist Robert Scott reports NAFTA has eliminated some 766,000 manufacturing jobs.

Mexican peasants have called NAFTA their "death warrant." The 1995 peso crisis devastated Mexico's economy, doubling the number of unemployed, dropping real wages 27 per cent in just two years.

Low-priced imports of U.S. corn and other agricultural products forced some two million Mexican farmers off the land. These are the families who cross the border and worsen the U.S. "immigration problem."

Just want your thoughts.

I myself believe to be an important condition, either to speak it or at the very least setting up mandatory English classes for immigrants/Asylum Seekers if they cannot all ready speak the national language.

What do you think?

"If anyone's going to be deported, it's going to be you! ... Get out! We are the future. You're old and tired. Go on. We have beaten you – leave like beaten rats. You old white people, it is your duty to die. Right now, we're already controlling those elections, whether it's by violence or nonviolence. Through love of having children we're going to take over."
