In N Out Burger from California doesn't employ illegal aliens and they actually offer a descent pay and benefits. Their pay in Northern California starts at $10/hr, but here's the great part..... their food doesn't cost anymore than McDonald's. If McDonald's, Taco Bell, all others did the same thing we'd never be short of workers.

Heres my opinion since you asked..
There's ALWAYS SOMEONE that will do the job! Doesn't have to be a mexican or other illegial immigrant. You don't see undocumented workers being door greeters at the Wal Mart right?? That's the job for the old retired person who wants something to do. Don't see the undocumented worker bagging groceries...that's the job for the teens. You see..there is a job for everyone. Employers should be held accountable. I worked in a nursery where there where TONS of the illegals that worked there. VERY NICE and HARDWORKING. I even complained to the owner that some of these guys are busting there butts and getting paid next to nothing...they got raises. Im all about being fair. Im not about these people coming over here the wrong way. I go into their country the right way...through the border patrol. They should do the same when they come here. PERIOD!! That doesn't make me racist.. Im all about bettering your quality of life. People come here ALL the time and become citizens of the United States. No reason why the others can not follow and do the same. As far as the employers getting in trouble..they should be held accountable. American citizens have to show social security card..and ID when they are hired. They want equal rights...they should do the same.

Only thing about the good ole days I kinda liked. Need to get it back to like it was before turn of the century where we crossed the border and worked on drilling rigs in mexico and on ranches there and got paid the same as in the states.
And they crossed the border and worked on our ranches and drilling rigs and got paid the same we got paid. It didn't make any difference which side of the border you were on and the border was at best just a sign post if it hadn't been torn down for fire wood.
That way companies will have to pay them at the same rates Americans make on both sides of the border.
That will do three things:
First
get the wages up in Mexico to where they should be:
Second
stop the illegal immigration problem.
Third
will not lower our living standards and wages because the companies will have to pay them the same we get paid.
Fourth:
The compnies will have to declare them and take out income tax from their wages as well as Social Security along with furnishing medical insurance.

I disagree. People will work there and ANYWHERE for a decent wage, but not for the wage that they would have paid the illegal! The reason these places are closing isn't because they can't hire illegal immigrants...it's because these places are either OWNED by illegal immigrants or they were too broke to pay a decent wage.

And people shouldn't discredit the American worker. It's not that Americans don't WANT to do the job! Americans can't afford to work for those wages.

Well don't get your point other than fast food places, which many make millions, are going to close because they can't get slave labor!

Let them close if they can't hire American workers. That is there issue, one they created by illegally hiring those who should have never been hired!

It's free enterprise, and much to the "surprise" of business, it works both ways! If you can't afford to pay people decent wages you don't belong in business! Making millions off of the backs of undocumented workers is illegal and does not help American workers one iota!

It is like buying a Cadillac and then asking what is the price of gas!

what about all the americans who need jobs? GW says americans don't want these jobs, but the real reason many americans don't take these types of jobs is because the pay is so LOW that we can't afford to live off that money. There are plenty of americans who need jobs, now. If anything, fast food places can afford to pay better wages. These are huge corporations that make billions of dollars.

Theirs never going to be a shortage of illegal immigrants in or country until we close are borders and shoot anyone who crosses. I'm Mexican so don't get me wrong i dont even think their should be a border but i dont agree with you. because if a American restaurant cant afford to pay employees the actual minimum wage then they shouldn't be open.

You are probably right.

But, the best solution is to get all the people that are mooching off the system and put them to work in any job that is available. This way no one will complain about illegals working these jobs and taking jobs away from citizens.

Oh, and by the way, they are not all Mexicans! You have all types of nationalities here illegally.

those stores, fast food restaurants, restaurants won't close...they'll just have to raise their employee salary costs and operate as they normally do.
Then all Americans will get more job offers from these sectors.
