"Your family immigrated from Africa Europe and Asia and Mexicans have the right just as you to be here"

Mexicans do not have the right to be here and neither does anyone else without proper documentation and approval.

Do these people understand that American citizens usually are not considered "immigrant" after the 3rd generation. most american's have been here for centuries from other countries and some dont even claim that country's blood.
Furthermore, immigration law did not exist 100 200 300 years ago so why do people keep using the forefathers immigration cliché? All you needed was a ticket to sail over to the US back then but now we have something called the law and the law states that it is a crime to enter the US without approval. Simple as that. If there was immigration law back then they would have to go through the same process as foreigners do today.

Is it just me that gets tired of hearing this cliché? these laws are created for a reason.

I dont like the Republican's stance on many things ranging from religion, war, minimum wage, and education, but what I do like, and the only reason why I would vote for McCain is immigration.
Democrats are not too keen for legalizing the millions of potential democrats, why? Who cares really. As long as Republicans plan to do so, I'll vote for them.

HELP!!! I am engaged to a fine young man from Mexico. The only problem is that he is not here with me. Is it easiest to marry him in Mexico then file an I-130 or file a fiance visa and wait forever to get him here?? Any advice/comments would be greatly appreciated! I miss him sooo much and can't afford to keep taking trips over there to see him...and he can't keep helping me foot the bills! Thank you SOOOO much in advance!

they employ if amnesty goes through? Same question applies for the construction industry as well. Or will they just revert back to sneaking in illegal immigrants once again? Of course wouldn't it be much easier to just do away with borders all together and establish a new type of government?

It is pointless to argue about Illegal immigration in any forum because you are not going to change the mind of an illegal or their legal but supporting spouse or their legal relative or any supporter of an illegal. And if you do agree then what do you suggest that people who do not support illegal immigration can legally do that might remotely be effective because I dont know about you but I SURE AS HE LL WONT STOP TILL THEIR GONE OR IM DEAD

Why is it that everyone commenting in the immigration section always say I just want them to obey the law. They are breaking laws. I bet that they have broken a law or two. Im American and I have broken the law a few time. I speed, have ran a stop sign/red light & I have littered. These are all forms of breaking laws. So is it that you are upset at the severity of the law they break or is it that your just a saint? Bring it on!
