Let's leave Mexico out of this question. Because they suffer in their country. Because they are treated inhumanely. Because they don't have enough to eat. Sorry folks but here in the US, poverty is alive and well.

I think these undocumented aliens will suffer more illegally present in the US since everyone is going to take advantage of them. Pity is not a good reason, on the other hand why don't you advocates preach the benefits of legal immigration. Sometimes things don't happen overnight. (I for one do not support illegal immigration)

Now before i get crucified again ill say this,What we did to the Indians was wrong. What we did to the Afro-Americans was wrong. What the USA government has done all over the world has not been always right, but the blue collar people who are the backbone of this country have been lied to and misled long enough and are gearing up to establish the fact that were not as stupid as the government thinks we are. This illegal invasion which the USA government created and allowed to happen just could be the straw that breaks the camels back.Right or wrong!

I am 15, right now I live in Canada and I want to go to university in the US. Probably UNC or Duke. But I would like to stay in the US after I have finished university, and I can get a job and green card.

But I have heard that they will not let a person into the US on a student visa if they know the person has the intent to stay in the US after university. I have also heard that I cannot actually apply for a green card when in the US on a student visa, even if an employer is sponsering me. I really want to live in the US after I have finished university there (I really don't want to go to a Canadian university), so what would be the best thing for me to do if they will not let me stay after university? I have family in North Carolina but they are not immediate family. So is it even possible to do what I would like to do? I REALLY want to live in the US, it's like my long term goal, so please tell me there is some hope that I can still get in?
