how do i go about it? i wanna be there on a permanent basis. if ive got the relevant qualifications, what’s the next step...... and onwards. im a British citizen, im young (22), im a amateur bodybuilder, strong accent (so im told by various yanks) and i have no criminal records (but there’s always time lol)

That'll be pretty hard to do. Our main work visa is the H-1B which is a specialy work visa. You must have at least a Bachelor's in that specific field and have someone willing to sponsor you and spend the money to try and bring you over. Because there is such a high need/desire for H-1 workers, the cap is usually met almost immediately.
