I keep getting letters asking me (the petitioner to provide more proof our marriage is "Bonafied". I had a lawyer and of course she has been in the hospital for the past month from having a baby. I saw some help on this site while I was @ work but lost it when I got home :(

Are you a US citizen? If so, she doesn't need a visa - she can apply for a Greencard. Get your marriage license notarized in the US.

Somebody at the US embassy is not buying the story. Simple. You need to follow up with all the required documentation properly. It does take 1 to 2 yrs by the way- so you're ok.

I don't know much about the law, but my advice is to go down there. A lot of things get done faster if you do it in person.

go to www.travel.state.gov and www.uscis.gov for this info. you do not need a lawyer. they think it is a fraud marriage. go spend some time reading than hiring a lawyer.
