Being locked up for 5 years thats bad luck not a hero,He rated on some guys caused them to be beat up,he caused a great deal of damage on our ship that cost lives,and equipment.He is no Hero,if anything he is a traitor to this country.any brain disfunctional vets dont like this go suck.

The Catholic Church has been agressive in asking the US government to give amnesty to illegal aliens, and they have been providing sanctuary to illegal aliens. Of course, most of the illegal aliens are devout Catholics. I doubt that the Catholic Church would want amnesty for illegal aliens if the majority of the aliens were Muslim or Hindu.

I believe they should stick to promoting their religion, and stay out of politics. What say you?

I have to write a 12-15 page paper on immigration and I'm finding it kind of hard finding good source for my information. I dont have a library to go to so all of it has be on the internet (uugghh). I also need to have an in depth understanding of how it all works, which I'm fing very hard to figure out. if anyone has any websites or information that could help, I'd give much thanks.

please! no sites for pre-written papers, I do my own work and dont like to cheat, I find that takeing the easy way out doesnt pay off

Why do the police protect these people at protest and at the same time say immigration is a federal issue? If it is a federal issue then the police need to stay out of the way and let Americans defend when the government as the people see fit. The police need to stand down or stand up! One or the other!

"Hours after the troops arrived in Nuevo Laredo, Horacio Garza, a federal congressman and two-time mayor of the city, was shot as he and his driver headed toward the airport Monday evening. The driver was killed. Garza received bullet wounds to the neck, shoulder and leg.

In 3 ½ years of intense cartel violence, more than 600 people reportedly have been killed in Nuevo Laredo.

Hundreds of Mexicans have been kidnapped or have disappeared from the area in recent years. At least 63 Americans have been kidnapped, according to Laredo's Missing, an organization set up by family members to pressure authorities on both sides of the border to find their loved ones. Many of the Americans were later released, but at least 20 remain missing."

Note they say this is due to competition for drug routes into the US. That means they are regularly coming here.

This man travels with a regular passport, after contacting the Asian or Central or South American, ladies on line in several dating sites, using a false profile!

In fact he's bald, 61 years old, has little money, makes them sell everything they have in their countries using web letters, always the same promising marriage (!!), a picture taken 20 years ago... then leaves them in a foreign country: no visa, no money, no rent (in his name), no food, takes the cheap engagement ring, he doesn't pay immigration attorneys so they refuse to help the poor ladies, they call their families to send a plane ticket.

After leaving the country without any warning, he always go back to his Ohian wife who support his awful behaviour, they have a sexless (he ca'nt !), a "modern", weird marriage. He has no police records, only lawsuits, he acts quickly using false address..

Any official sites to inform? What are the best international dating sites so we can warn them?.Many thanks to all..

Hi everyone---I'm trying to help out my aunt-in-law with this question. She came to US on a tourist visa and got a work permit. She got married (to my uncle), applied for her residency (green card--status pending) and got social security #. Her work permit is expiring in July and INS will not extend it. What would happen if she work with expired permit before she gets her green card? Can she work without the permit since she has a social security #? Will she be in trouble? Thanks in advance for your answers.

I think that foreigners who can show they are legally here should be able to get loans, so I guess I would tinker with this to say if you don't have a social security card you would need immigration confirmation of legal status, rather than that you'd be barred altogether.

And thinking about it, part of me would rather we handled it through boycott than legislation. However, I think the government has a legitimate interest in preventing encouragement of illegal immigration. I just wish it extended to not offering them benefits or work of any kind.

What do you think of this bill?

An illegal murdered a 28 yr old, 8 months pregnant, woman, with his car. She was walking. He has been deported from the U.S. before, and he's back and charged with 2nd degree murder. Another hit and run happened two days ago by an illegal that was also deported at one time, and is now back in the U.S. The woman he hit was driving but is in critical condition. These are just a couple of examples. So is this happening everywhere? Or is North Carolina a hotbed for illegals?
