how long does it take to recieve the social security card?

my wife applied for the ss. card with her employment authorazation card, how long does it take to recieve to card in the mail????

I recieved it within 3 weeks.
They only give you 2 a year, in case of loss, and 10 a lifetime, so make sure she takes care of it.

2-4 weeks. Ours came exactly at 2 weeks.

mine came after 4 weeks but it was during the holidays
