my dear very dificult very dificult, you must to go there, and try yourself to have a live there.
I have been in australia 2.5years, and at that moment, was already very dificult to imigrated.

Firstly, do you have any skills? Getting Australia is difficult unless you are some type of useless refugee or unless you have skills / trade that is in demand here and can get you a job.

Secondly, Do you speak good english? Because you will need to show that you can speak / write good clear english.

Third - Are you in good health? Because if you have HIV, TB or Hepatitis or something that will mean that you cant work and will be dependant on our health care system - Forget it.

Go to the Australian department of immigration and citzenship for further details - just type DIMA or DICA.

You will have to prove to the Australian Gov. that you will not be a burden on the state. That means you need cash and lots of it.Or you could clame Asylum from Blairs Dictatorship.

Make sure you try though Australia house and not an Agent as this will cost you plenty.

At 50 you will have to have a successful business or loads of money..Aussies want you to prove you can support yourself at that age...
