California alone spends over $10 billion a year on illegal aliens. That results in $1,100 in added taxes for each family in California.

Mexico has also indicated the border fence will work. That is why Mexico is so against it.

Congress won't do anything about illegals crossing the borders because Corporations want cheap labor . If Congress went aginest the Corporations then the free money would dry up . What a shame , if they had to do some thing that the American People want .

I'm currently a 3rd year UCLA student pursuing a career in medicine. My family came to the US from the Philippines in 1993 under my dad's L-1 Visa. I graduated from my high school at the top of my class, have worked numerous jobs, pay for my car, rent, and even have my own online jewelry business. HUGE problem though -- I'm undocumented and am unable to get financial aid. My father's visa expired some time ago and because of problems with INS papers, the visa is now out-of-status and our case cannot be appealed. I DO have a social security number, a valid employment authorization card, a CA driver's license, work for a US company, and pay taxes. However, I am unable to get federal financial aid because I am neither a US citizen or a Permanent Resident. I am really struggling with paying tuition, so I am wondering if there is ANY way I can start the legalization process at this point. Med school is expensive, and without aid, I don't think I'll be able to go. Any advice?

I know many pro illegals claim that they are "pay taxes" and are just "hard working people that want a better opportunity" ....but I also know that many steal Social Security #s and legal citizens identity. Is this how they claim they "pay taxes", by using a stolen Social Security #? Why can't these thefts be traced back to the thieves stealing the identities?? How can these pro illegals claim that this is ok??

The Latino gang members were looking for a black person, any black person, to shoot, the police said, and they found one. Cheryl Green, perched near her scooter chatting with friends, was shot dead in a spray of bullets that left several other young people injured. In Harbor Gateway, the neighborhood where Cheryl Green was killed, tension had grown so severe that blacks and Latinos formed a dividing line on a street that both sides understood never to cross and a small market was unofficially declared off-limits to blacks.http://www.nytimes.com/2007/01/17/us/17race.html?_r=1&th&emc=th&oref=slogin

many times i have heard on here that the illegals are doing us a favor as our growing elderly population is growing so, them paying into our social security will help us(hmm mrrm ) . well what about all the elderly they are leaving behind in mexico evidently the president of mexico thinks its a big problem he is offering companies incentives to pay young Mexicans higher wages. giving them an incentive to stay home and develop higher skills. This loss of labor can't go on forever. Mexico is losing people as it is (growth has slowed to 1.16% from 1.53% in 2000)
Calderon is up against not just market forces. Mexico's young people are leaving for El Norte even before they start looking for work in Mexico because their peers are doing it.

It also complements Calderon's emphasis on the rule of law. Unlike his predecessor, Vicente Fox, who sought amnesty for illegals in the U.S., he is urging the U.S. to accept more legal workers to end border chaos.

Technically, illegal aliens are enemy combatants and don't have rights in America.

So that being said, is it a crime?

ok-- here's the situation--- Recently, I had a friend who moved to BA and says it quite beautiful there, though he is living there illegally. As for me, I am working in Honolulu, and have lived for the past three years in NYC, where I recieved a degree.

My ethnic background is half french and chinese, and I am an American citizen, and I am willing to live in BA with a student visa, and my employer is still thinking about placing me, on a telecommute position. I do not want to break any federal laws, a course, but I do not want to go back to school, and my spanish is pretty good, and I would like to contribute to the BA economy, if I decide to live there, which means I would have to file taxes as an American citizen, and also to the BA government and its foreign policy system.

Now, if my telecommute position goes through, what would be the reprecussions if I prolong my stay, in BA by more than the 90 days as a tourist? In BA, its been said, it is rather liberal with Immigrant
