so should we close our boarders to illegal immigrants and only allow the people who obtain green cards to come into our country. I think green cards and they have to at least learn our language if they come to our country. what do you all think

Secure the borders both north and south..A 5 to 10 year moratorium on all legal immigration or until we can get control of the illegal alien problem.Our borders are like sieve's,they are almost useless the way they are now.
Unless we do something drastic and implement it ASAP there wont be much left to care about.in 20 years.This nation will be a poverty/crime ridden country that no one wants to live in .Not even the people that helped ruin it.
Do you people really love the word racists or is it your only defense for illegal actions.Call me anything that makes you feel better I could care less.It has no effect on my views or my thinking.

Secondly, that's not something new, it's something we should be doing anyhow. Don't act like this is some new policy. The truth is there just isn't good enough enforcement of this plan. However, the learning of the language is a bit extreme. America does not have a national language so what language do you propose to make people learn?

We've been invaded by Mexico. That has put a big strain on our economy and medical care in this country. There are about 40 million illegal aliens in our country now. The government only admits to 12 million. We are spread out too thin to help our people in need. We are about to face World War III in the Middle East. If Bush bombs Iran, Russia and China will side with Iran and we could get nuked. The situation is very serious and I don't see any leadership right now to help us through this situation.....)(

First of all, it's spelled BORDERS. Secondly, it is impossible to obtain a green card before coming into the country; this is obtained after you have been here for a while. Finally, yes we should close them down but afterwards give selective amnesty.
