Why the heck is it me who has to learn how to speak spanish in my hometown when it is the hispanic population that is moving here??? Shouldnt they have to learn to speak english??? if you move to Europe you are forced to learn their native language...why not here im so sick of walking into a gas station and having to walk through a crowd of mexicans speaking spanish and then they look and they laugh...because i cant understand them. if you like speaking spanish so much then go back to mexico. otherwise get a greencard, pay your taxes, and take an english class!!!!!!!!!

immigrants? When the U.S. invades other countries, rage, and in consequence, terrorism is encouraged, I wonder why are you so afraid of immigrants, they do the kind of work you don't want to perform and with very low salaries. Or is it that you just realized that you have been invaded and didn’t even notice it? or WHY??? It looks like you are more confortable with war, killing of inocents, sending your young people to kill and get killed, than with ilegal aliens, it just makes no sense to me...

Amid a growing national debate over how to deal with illegal aliens, one expert suggested Monday that the way to solve the immigration problem in the United States is to boost the Mexican economy.

"If you solve the Mexico problem, the rest becomes much easier to deal with. That is the heart of the problem," said Doug Massey, co-director of the Mexican Migration Project at Princeton University.

Massey was joined at a Capitol Hill press conference by Jeffrey Passel, a demographer with the Pew Hispanic Center. According to Passel, the number of illegal immigrants has been steadily increasing over the past 20 years and is now approaching 12 million.

Can we write letters to all the Pres. candidates that we feel akin to and tell them we won't vote for them unless they make a public stand against Illegal immigration?
Don't we need to put our bets on the table here folks? Do we want nandy pandy maybe this maybe that or do we want surety and decissiveness and a strong commintment to end the influx and presence of illegal people in this country?

Hi there,

I am an international student in the UK. I am an Indian citizen. I got married last year in October. We got married in India. My wife holds an indefinite leave to remain in the UK. I am right now in the UK on a student visa. I want to change it to a spouse visa. I have checked all the home office websites and even spoken to them regarding this. Some of them tell me that I need to go back to India and some have said that I can change it here itself. I am really confused. Can someone help? Please do not give me home office websites or telephone numbers as I have exhausted those resources completely.

I will finish my bachelor in business administration soon. But I don't have any documents for England or anything. Could I be able to get a job there? Is people there racist towards foreigners (I'm mexican)? How is people's culture? Would I ever be able to work on my profession anyways?
I'm going there because I'm marrying an english boy. I'm 22 years old, and still will leave debts in my country that I would have to cover... so I was wondering.

Pro's are too ignorant to get the fact that the whole thing is illegal. I asked a question yesterday asking how they would feel if an illegal stole their identity. All but 1 pro danced around the question, avoided the main fact, called names, and called me racist. Which proves that they really have no valid point. For what reason they sympathize I have yet to figure out, but that point was proven to me that the pro side is full of ignorance and opinion based arguments. However, whenever the anti side is asked a question, I admit there are those who are ignorant, but for the most part each and every argument can be backed by some sort of factual event, or a website showing evidence of the truth. Pro's are losing the battle, and yesterday that showed. For those of you who want to see the ignorance for yourself here is the link.

My husband and I are thinking about immigrating to Canada in another 3 years. We are aged 28 and 27 respectively and have a 2 year old son. I have a BA in Mass Communication and 4 years experience as a Broadcast Jourmalist in Jamaica, and I am planning on doing my LLB (Law Degree) which will be completed in the next 3 years. My husband is also doing a BSc. in Banking and Finance. With such qualifications and experience, what's the likelihood of our immigration applications being successful; the prospects avaliable for us to apply for jobs from here in Jamaica before we arrive in Canada while or before the immigration process is complete; what can we expect with regards to relocation, etc.

It makes sense. Annex Mexico, post-Castro Cuba, and Canada. Give Quebec its freedom.

We support Mexico and Canada anyway, why not draw upon them for taxes and conscripts?
