I mean as a senior level would that affect some how the asylum decision there?

Probably there are always people in these kinds of jobs that let their personal opinions cloud judgements that should be made inpartially.

I think you can get someone to look at decisions again if you think they have been unfairly made.

I think in most workplaces, especially civil service, you are allowed to be a member of the BNP, but if you ever let BNP attitudes show in the way you did your job, they could, would (and should) sack you.

You are entitled to political views, but in most work places, if you behave in a racist manner, you are not appropriate for the job specification.

Coo what a thought - John Reid should re-staff his department with the whole BNP - I bet we wont "lose" any illegal immigrants then!

They would say that a persons political views are between the individual and the ballet box!
To label or exclude an individual because of their political or sexual orientation would constitute an infringement on their civil liberty's.
So Yes quite possibly.

I'm sure if there was, we would not have had the problems we have today, although i suspect a lot of the immigration employees would love it if they had a BNP member in charge !!
