If they broke the law to get here and obtained documents such as someone else's social security number illegally, they do not have the right to become a citizen. If you are a citizen and become a felon you loose your right to vote and have trouble getting work. Why should it be any different for "illegal aliens"? Plain and simple they are abusing our country, our laws, and on top of all that don't even bother to learn English but expect us to accommodate them and learn Spanish
Go to many "developing" and "third world" countries. Guess what you can't easily get into their country illegally and if you do you will most likely wind up in a very nasty jail. If these countries don't tolerate illegal immigration why should we. If you get caught there you get deported.

In Mexico, like it is in many other nations, a very small percentage of Mexican nationals DO NOT have the Desire or the Need to Emigrate to the U.S. These people are academically well educated, have a good financial living style, culturally well rounded people that do not have the necesity to come to the U.S. The majority of the people that immigrate to the U.S. are really people that couldnt be able to do well because of lack of education. These Uneducated Immigrants come to the U.S. and are taking jobs away from the average American citizen because of their hard working skills and loyalty to the hand that feeds them. Iknow, I know, everyone out there saying that "they take over our jobs because they are willing to get paid less and therefore companies are in the business of making money".

I am french /german (german citizenship)married to an USC and we have a kid together . We lived some years in France and some Years in Germany . Now we all going back to my hubbys place ... USA . We was often there together and i loved the kindness of the ppl . But now ..i see all this hate against foreigners.. and that is scaring me . I must say ,even my english sucks , i am not a dumb an uneducated person. Would i have the chance to be a part of the society ?Or will i be always be THE IMMIGRANT?

My hubby knows my fears he said i will be all right.. but this hate shocks me a lot

Working for 4 dollars and hour is simply ridiculous but Illegals do it and claim they are helping the economy by doing the jobs that Americans dont want to do, I think they need a news flash that they are the ones being taken advantage of and making themselves look like their hardwork and labor is not worth more than that 4 dollars. I am just getting tired of pointing out why it is BAD to be an ILLEGAL ALIEN. "LOS ANGELES (AFP) - Rescue workers freed seven illegal immigrants who became trapped after attempting to enter the United States from Mexico via a flooded storm drain, US media reported.

I have seen a lot in the polictical questions, in the immigration catagory the statement made "You are an immigrant unless you are Native American in the United States of America" I'm curious what have you learned about our history to make you think that statement is accurate.
This is not a debate about whether it's an accurate statement or not. I know it's not accurate and I know why, I'm curious as to the people making the statement or agreeing with the statement, what have they learned about the United States of America's history to think it is accurate. I'm not judging anybody by what they say, I'm just curious about what you learned about the subject.
